The United States Air Force, considered by many as the most powerful aircraft armada in the world has the AH-64 Apache Helicopter as its foremost offensive helicopter.

What is an AH-64?

The AH-64 Apache is equipped with a wide array of armaments that has earned it the nick of flying tank. Advanced sensors and very high mobility allows reacting almost instantly to any threat and counterattacking fiercely regardless if the target is up close of coming from a long distance.  It is the first choice in obliterating enemies on land, sea or air or even in delaying the enemy force while waiting for reinforcements to arrive. It has all it needs to do combat and endure in the harshest conditions in the planet in any time of day or night.

AH-64 Origin

The AH-64 was originally designed for the sole purpose of eliminating vital enemy forces such as heavy-armored vehicles or small yet important establishments using its most lethal weapon rightfully bearing the name Hellfire Missile. One craft is able to contain and fire 16 of these hellish devices that when activated will independently seek the target until it hits. The AH-64 Apache Longbow also has secondary missiles named Hydra for destroying other armored targets. It also has heavy automatic machine guns for rapid termination of infantry units using up to 1,200 rounds of armor piercing rounds. It is also covered with several plates of thick armor that can repel heavy gunfire. The aircraft is very easy to maneuver and the pilot is free to fly towards any direction at any angle. It is uncontested as the most flexible and most agile of all mobile weapons to ever grace the battlefield.

AH-64 Engine Capacity

This machine runs with two engines, with each one capable of fully sustaining the aircraft that allows it to operate at maximum capacity. The AH-64 Apache carries two experts with it with one functioning as the pilot and is positioned on the back cockpit and the other functioning as the gunner and secondary pilot positioned in the obverse. The aircraft is capable of sustaining itself and can complete whole missions without any form of support. It has two types of sensors integrated in its system. The first one is the TADS or Target Acquisition Designation Sight which allows the flying tank to seek and destroy targets with utmost precision. The other one is the PNVS or Pilot Night Vision Sensor which allows the pilot and gunner to both stay inside the AH-64 as efficient during the night as they are during the day.
